From Steve
Up date as of Thursday, 21 May-
I am resting comfortably. The steroids seem to be keeping the swelling of the brain to a minimum so that helps. My biggest issue is double vision as the tumor touches the optic nerve.
It is a constant reminder that the the tumor comes out next week.
Jim and Winnie arrived HK last night (one day sooner than we expected but my friends were on standby at the airport so no big issues on the pick-up even with the mix-up).
We had a good time to discuss the surgery and the current situation.
Annie and I are running around getting things (i.e. banks) sorted out before the surgery. Annie is so strong and determined.
Now that we know our plan, it is about waiting to start the surgery (Wed in HK) and getting things in order before the surgery. We are hoping that nothing else messes up the schedule. We believe in the plan (surgery followed by chemo/radiation) so now want to get on with the plan.

I have heard about your illness a few days ago originally from Richard.. I did try to write you here after getting email from Annie the other day but my internet was off because of electrical cut so I have lost those message, really annoying..
I have sent a link about a Thai guys who had operation from brain tumor end of last year and how he has been through. Now he is almost back to normal , can cycling well in fitness.. May be annie has read and tell you already..
By the way, I hope that the operation would go well
and make you back to normal soon. Everything will be okay.
Take care and get well soon,
