Friday am in HK. The Dr. just called to say that they were moving Steve into a regular room. They had been testing him by having him do some exercises and walking and he passed those so they do not see any reason for him to be in ICU.
Annie is going up this morning. We will be going up after lunch and then tonight we will order in food for all of us to eat with him.
The oncologist will be meeting with him soon to get started on that treatment.
So today is a good day! We know he is ready for the next step in this journey.
Last night he and Annie told us they think we should go ahead and plan to leave like we are scheduled. So Tuesday, June 2 we will leave and crazy as it seems, we arrive in Denver on June 2. The hospital where he will receive radiation treatments is only 5 minutes away and they have people that can go with him when Annie is not available. Knowing Annie she will be available each time.

Such good news to see you improving each day and it won't stop. Your friends are terrific and that says a lot about you. Annie incredible!

Steve, these post op photos are amazing! You look healthy and strong. (If it wasn't for the turbin with the bun on top, one would never know that you have just had major surgery.)
